About the PM Internship Scheme
A flagship initiative of the Government of India to give 1 crore youth real-world internship experience in India’s top 500 companies over five years.
🎓Eligibility
Indian citizens aged 21–24, not in full-time employment or full-time education. Class 10/12 pass, ITI, diploma or graduates can apply.
💰Monthly Stipend
₹5,000/month — ₹4,500 from the Government (via DBT) and ₹500 from the host company — plus a one-time ₹6,000 joining grant.
📅Duration
A structured 12-month internship with real working exposure at the partner company, not just classroom training.
🛡Insurance & Certificate
Interns are covered under PMJJBY & PMSBY (premiums paid by government) and receive a completion certificate.
